Procedure
Sending an NFT using a Legacy Wallet
1) Log into your Gala Games Account, click your profile picture, and select Inventory from the menu.
2) Scroll down to locate the NFT section in the Gala Games website Inventory. The website categorizes NFTs according to the specific game they belong to. In this example, we are going to send a Flour Storage NFT to another user. Since this NFT is utilized in Common Ground World, you would need to click on the Common Ground World category.
3) After loading the account’s Common Ground World NFT inventory, click Flour Storage.
4) On the following page, you'll find the quantity of the selected items in your wallet. This account currently has one Flour Storage. If there were multiple instances of this NFT in the wallet, the person would be able to send more accordingly. Once you have chosen the desired number of NFTs to be sent, simply click the "Send Item" button.
5) Enter the recipient’s Ethereum address in the TO box as shown below.
Note: When sending to a Gala Games account wallet, you can find the recipient's Ethereum address by going to their Inventory and selecting $GALA[ETH]. Clicking on "Get $GALA" will reveal the $GALA[ETH] address. Refer to this article for the complete guide: Find Your Ethereum Address
To send an item on the Ethereum blockchain, a gas fee will be necessary. You can either proceed with the default fee or utilize the "Speed Up" button for a quicker delivery of the NFT. Once you have entered the Ethereum address, click on the Send Item prompt.
6) Sending an item requires the account’s Transfer Code. Enter the Transfer Code in the box as shown below and click the Submit button.
7) When prompted, input the 2FA code.
8) If there is sufficient Ethereum to cover the transaction, the item will be successfully sent. Typically, sending items is a quick process, but it may experience delays if the Ethereum network is congested.
Sending an NFT using a Web 3 Wallet
1) Log into your Gala Games Account, click your profile picture, and select Inventory from the menu.
2) NFTs on the website are categorized based on the respective game they are associated with. In this example, we are sending a Cannon NFT to another user, an NFT associated with the game Spider Tanks. This NFT can be found under the Spider Tanks category.
3) Click the Cannon NFT.
4) After selecting the desired quantity of NFTs to send, click on the "Send Item" button to proceed.
5) Enter the recipient’s Ethereum address in the TO box as shown below.
6) When sending the NFT, you have the choice to use the default gas fee or accelerate the transaction. If you opt for faster processing, you can do it directly through the website by clicking the "Speed Up" button or by adjusting the gas fees using your web3 wallet. To learn more about selecting gas fees, please refer to the article Select Gas Fees For Transactions using a Web3 Wallet. Once you have entered the Ethereum address, proceed by clicking on the Send Item prompt.
7) This will open up your Web 3 wallet. This example is using MetaMask, but the process is similar to other wallets. Once you have reviewed the gas fee details, click Confirm.
8) Once the transaction is confirmed, a pop-up notification from the MetaMask extension will verify its completion. At this point, the transaction is considered complete.
Please be aware that the transaction may not be instantly finalized. Usually, the processing time is around 5 minutes, but in cases of network congestion, it could take up to 24 hours.
If it is not completed within the 24-hour timeframe, it is recommended to reach out to Gala Support for assistance. You can refer to the provided article for a guide on how to submit a support ticket.
