This article explains how you can select gas fees when purchasing from the store using a Web3 wallet.
This article assumes you understand the information in the following articles:
Increasing the gas fee for a transaction allows you to choose how quickly you want a purchase to be processed. If you prefer a faster transaction, you can opt for higher fees to expedite the processing on the Ethereum network rather than using the standard gas amount and waiting longer.
For a detailed step-by-step guide on purchasing using a web3 wallet, please refer to the article "Purchasing an NFT from the Gala Games Store Using a Web 3 Wallet".
This article will use MetaMask as an example, but other Web 3 wallets will have similar steps.
1) When you initiate a transaction, you will notice an icon above your gas details. Typically, it will display "Site suggested," indicating that the website recommends the initial gas fee displayed.
2) To select a gas fee for your transaction, you can click on the "Site suggested" button. Clicking on the "Site suggested" button will reveal different levels of gas options for your transaction:
Low: This option involves paying a lower gas fee, which may result in a longer waiting time for your transaction to be completed.
Market: This setting adjusts your gas fee to align with the current market rates.
Aggressive: By selecting this option, you can be more assertive with your transaction and have it completed as soon as possible by paying a higher fee.
If you prefer more control over the gas parameters, you can click "Advanced" to customize them directly.
