Where To Get GALA
Typically, most wallet connections issues can be solved by performing a hard refresh, clearing cache & cookies, or restarting your browser. If wallet issues still occur, please try the advanced steps below. A video demonstration is included at the end of this article.
Step 1: Ensure you have your seed phrase and/or transfer code securely backed up.
Step 2: Navigate to chrome://extensions/ and delete the wallet by clicking Remove.
Step 3: Navigate to swap.gala.com (Or whichever URL you are having issues connecting to).
Step 4: Right click and select Inspect; a panel will show up.
Step 5: Select the Application tab; this will reveal a selection of browser storage items.
Step 6: Uncollapse "Local storage", select swap.gala.com and select the small icon to clear all.
Step 7: Repeat this step for "Session storage", "Extension storage" (for Gala Wallet), and "Cookies".
Step 8: Reload the page.
Step 9: Navigate to https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/gala-wallet/enogcihmejeobfbnkkbcgcjffgdieaoj?hl=en-US&utm_source=ext_sidebar to reinstall the wallet.
Step 10. Proceed with wallet setup and connect to the website.
