Summary
Meow Match is an engaging and delightful match-3 puzzle game that features a variety of virtual feline friends. To add more excitement and strategy to the game, Power Ups and Boosters are available to assist players in completing challenging levels.
Power-Ups
Power Ups are special game elements that are created when players match four or more pieces of the same type. These Power Ups can be combined or activated to remove more pieces from the game board and help achieve level goals.
Types of Power-ups:
1) Firecrackers break all pieces that are one tile adjacent, and can be created by matching four pieces.
2) Cat Bombs are even more powerful, breaking everything within a two tile radius, and can be created by matching five pieces.
3) Dynamite has an even wider range, breaking everything within a three tile radius, and can be created by matching six pieces.
4) TNT is the most explosive power-up, breaking everything within a four tile radius, and can be created by matching seven pieces.
5) Yarn Bombs, which remove all instances of a specific piece from the board. To create a Yarn Bomb, players must charge up the Yarn Charge Bar on the left side of the screen by activating power-ups.
Once the meter is full, a yarn ball will appear randomly on the play field. Moreover, if players can combine two yarn balls together, they can clear the entire board, providing a significant advantage in the game.
Boosters
Meow Match offers a variety of boosters that can help players progress through levels and achieve high scores. These boosters can be grouped into two categories: those that can be selected during the level intro screen and those that can be accessed within the game itself.
Boosters that can be selected during the level intro screen include:
1) Double Cat Bomb Booster - provides two randomly placed bombs at the beginning of the level.
2) Yarn Ball Booster - provides a randomly placed Yarn Bomb at the beginning of the level.
3) Yarn Ball & Dynamite Booster - provides a randomly placed Yarn Bomb and Dynamite at the beginning of the level.
It's worth noting that players have the option of selecting all of them, but only one of each. That is, they will receive one of each type of boost, and the booster bar displays the total amount of each additional boost a player has available.
Boosters that can be accessed within the game itself include:
1) Scoop Booster - One tile can be removed by scooping it from the play field. The scoop can only be used from within the match-3 level.
2) Cat Paw - Allows players to swap the positions of two adjacent pieces on the game board
3) Wind-up Mouse - This booster clears up selected entire horizontal line.
4) Laser Pointer - Players can use this booster to clear up selected entire vertical line.
