Getting Started in Meow Match

Meow Match is a match-3 puzzle game developed by Ember Entertainment. The game involves completing levels to earn Gold Fish, which can be used to spend on  Cats and Decorations and progress through different environments. Here are some of the key aspects of Meow Match that every player should know:

Gameplay Basics

To play Meow Match, players must swipe two adjacent objects to create a match of three or more identical tiles. Each level has a different goal or objective, such as collecting or dropping a certain number of objects within a limited number of moves. Unlike some other match-3 puzzle games, Meow Match doesn't have a score goal, so players must focus on meeting the level's specific objective to progress.

The game introduces unique mechanics, such as the use of cat characters. Each cat has its own special ability that can be used to clear tiles and progress through the levels.

Levels

Meow Match presents the player with various levels, each containing its own unique set of goals and challenges to overcome. As the player progresses through each level, the challenges become increasingly difficult, requiring a combination of strategic thinking and skillful gameplay to succeed. 

Power-Ups and Boosters

Meow Match offers a variety of power-ups and boosters that can help players progress through levels faster.

Lives

In Meow Match, players have a limited number of lives that decrease every time they fail to complete a level. Once they run out of lives,  they must wait for a certain period of time for them to recharge, or they can purchase lives using in-game currency. Additionally, players who are part of a team (guild) can request their team members for lives every 4 hours.Another option is to ask their friends on Facebook to send them lives. 

With these options available, players can continue playing the game and overcome the challenging levels with a little help from their friends or team members.

Team

Upon reaching a specific level, Meow Match allows players to join a team, providing them with the opportunity to send and receive lives from fellow team members and participate in team tournaments. Being part of a team not only adds a social element to the game but also provides players with additional support and resources to progress through the levels.

Tournaments

Team tournaments are a fun and competitive way for groups of users to work together and earn points. These tournaments are held weekly and typically last for three days. Each tournament has a specific goal or objective, which can vary from week to week.

Daily Rewards

Meow Match offers daily random rewards to players, including coins, power-ups, and boosters. Players can claim these rewards by logging into the game every day.

Social Features

Meow Match provides players with the ability to link up with their Facebook friends, participate in leaderboard challenges and exchange lives with them. Additionally, connecting to Facebook enables players to synchronize their game progress across multiple devices.

In-Game Currency

Meow Match uses Gold as the primary currency. Players can earn Gold by completing levels or purchasing them using real money. Gold can be used to buy power-ups, boosters, and extra lives.

Another type of currency in Meow Match is Kitten Cash, which players can use to upgrade their cats by unlocking perks and boosters. Kitten Cash can also be earned by completing levels successfully.
