Summary
When playing in Town Star, players may run into situations where crops or certain buildings may not produce as efficiently as they should. This can be shown when clicking on a tile and seeing its timer is yellow or red.
When this happens, it can be a result of a proximate effect from a nearby tile's building or natural structures. For example, a building like a lumberjack house can produce 2 tiles worth of shade and wind block.
It negatively affects buildings or plants that are within their proximity. This effect decreases moving away from the object, so if an object is placed more than two tiles from this lumberjack house shown above, it will not be affected.
Some effects can positively impact crops or buildings like a river.
In this example, a river can supply passive water to up to five tiles. The river's effect diminishes if the player moves objects further from it.
