Purpose

This article goes over the Gala Node Dashboard features, such as Dashboard, to determine which nodes are online or offline. More features will be added in the future.

Assumptions Made

This article assumes the reader understands the information in the following articles:

Gala Nodes Ecosystem

Summary

The Gala Node Dashboard is a Node Management tool.

Navigate to node.gala.com and sign into a Gala Games and Entertainment Account. The dashboard will look similar to as shown below.

Dashboard

Users can see their own Node workload(s) and if it's active and connected to the network. In the Stats section, users can see:

Module Type

The type of node license a user has associated with their account.

Purchased Licenses

The number of licenses for each node type that an account has purchased. Users may also click the buy button to buy more if available.

My Modules Online

The number of modules (workloads) being run is associated with the person's Gala Games and Entertainment account.

Modules In Network

The network sees the total number of nodes in each category.

In the My Nodes section users can see:

Node

The name of the node that is currently running. Users may rename their Machine if they wish and copy the associated machine ID. Currently, it does not update the offline emails users may receive, but this feature will be added in the future.

Node Version

The version of the Gala Node software the Machine is using.

Node Last Seen

This is how long it has been since the network last saw the node. This helps a person know how long it has been since a node has not been seen by the network.

Workloads

The workloads a computer runs and supports for the network. Workloads have three different status indicators.

Green - The workload is online.

Orange - The workload is on Standby. The node is running the workload, but all licenses are being used by other nodes.

Red - The workload is offline.

Workload Version

Workload Version is the version of the workload a person is running. Please read this article to learn more: Gala Node Software Version vs Workload Version

Workload Last Seen

This displays how long it has been since a particular workload has been seen by the network. This is useful for troubleshooting if a particular workload may not be working properly in the Gala Node software while other workloads may be functioning properly.

Online Today

The amount of time a machine has been online and connected to the network.

Online Yesterday

The time a machine was online and connected to the network the previous day.

Node Management

The Node Management tab allows users to manage their Nodes remotely without needing to interact directly with the machine.

Blockchain Updates

Users can see various blockchain activities in the Gala Games and Entertainment ecosystem in this section.

Active Poll

The Active Poll section allows users with a Founder's Node license to vote in polls regarding the direction of the Gala Games and Entertainment ecosystem. Please read this article to learn more:

Completed Polls

Users can see the results of node votes that previously took place.
