Description
This article explains how users can manage their nodes in the Gala Node Dashboard.
Assumptions Made
This article assumes you have a valid node license, are on the latest Gala Node software installation, and understand the information in the following articles:
Summary
In the Gala Node Dashboard, the Node Management tab allows users to manage their Nodes remotely without needing to interact directly with the machine. This feature requires nodes to be running Gala Node Version 3.3.5 or higher to have access to it.
The search bar allows users to select a node to manage within the interface. If a user has named their nodes, they will be able to search for them by name. If no custom name is entered, it will default to the node's Node ID as its name.
Node Info shows the Node's Node ID, Custom Name ( it will be blank if it doesn't have one), Node Version and the Operating System it is running on. Users can also copy the Node ID or rename the node if they wish.
Node options allow users to restart and stop their Gala Node software and change specific network ports if needed.
Workload Status shows the status of the Gala Node software's workloads as well as the version of the workload it is running.
Select workloads allows users to turn on or off workloads remotely.
