Purpose
This article shows how you can see your wallet to ensure you have successfully received your $GALA V2 and know what $GALA V1 looks like in your wallet on Etherscan.
Assumptions Made
The article assumes you have already created a wallet and understand the information in the following articles:
Procedure
1) Navigate to Etherscan.io and enter your Ethereum address into the search bar. Click the Magnify Glass to continue.
2) After looking up your address, click the Token Holdings section and search GALA. If you see multiple tokens with GALA in their name, you can click them individually to look these tokens up. Click the shown token as shown below.
3) This section will show you how many tokens you have and the token's contract address.
The $GALA V1's token address is 0x15d4c048f83bd7e37d49ea4c83a07267ec4203da. If the Token Contract does not match $GALA V1's token address, these tokens are not associated with $GALA V1.
As long as a wallet's $GALA V1 is held in a wallet you own or a supported exchange at the time of the snapshot, the address and its amount shown on Etherscan will receive the $GALA V2 upgrade.
4) This wallet has received its $GALA V2 upgrade. This token's Contract Address on the Ethereum Network is 0xd1d2Eb1B1e90B638588728b4130137D262C87cae. The token associated with the contract address matches $GALA V2.
You can also check out this list of snapshotted addresses to see if your address was in the snapshot as well as how much $GALA V2 it should be receiving. Gala V2 Migration Totals
After downloading the sheet and opening it, you can use CTRL-F on your keyboard ( or Command-F on MacOS) to find your wallet address on the sheet. Column A shows the wallet's address and Column C is $GALA V2 it will receive.
