Different Blockchains in Gala Inventory
Procedure
Note: If you use a Web 3 Wallet instead of a Legacy Wallet, connect it to your account before continuing.
1) Log in to your Gala Games and Entertainment account, then click on your profile picture in the upper left corner. From the menu, select Inventory.
On the inventory page, you'll see a list of all the cryptocurrencies supported by the Gala Games and Entertainment platform, along with their respective wallet balances. This example will use an empty wallet so that all cryptocurrency balances will be displayed as 0.
When depositing on the Ethereum network, look for the suffix [ETH] at the end of the cryptocurrency's name. This example will show how to deposit $GALA on the Ethereum network; click the arrow next to the $GALA[ETH] balance, as shown below.
2) After clicking the arrow, there will be two options:
Get $GALA[ETH] will allow you to receive $GALA from another wallet using the Ethereum Network.
Send $GALA[ETH] will allow you to send $GALA from your Ethereum wallet to another wallet.
For all supported cryptocurrencies, the wallet will show the Get and Send prompts for each of them (Get ETH, Receive ETH, etc.)
In this case, click Get $GALA[ETH] to show the Account’s $GALA address on the Ethereum Network. The $GALA address will be the same as the wallet's Ethereum address since $GALA[ETH] uses the Ethereum Network.
3) The Receive Funds prompt will appear after clicking Get $GALA [ETH]. You can request a certain amount of $GALA, which will change the generated QR code, but the address will stay the same.
Clicking Copy Address lets you copy the address to your computer's clipboard. Afterward, you can easily paste it into your wallet's send field.
4) Clicking Send $GALA[ETH] will show this prompt.
AMOUNT: This is the amount of the cryptocurrency you want to send out of a wallet. This example is for $GALA.
Send Max: This sends the full balance available. If you have 100 $GALA in your wallet, it will fill the AMOUNT space with 100.
TO: This is where you should enter the recipient's wallet address
Note: Always double-check to make sure the address is entered correctly. Once funds are sent out to a different wallet, they cannot be recovered.
Gas Fee: The gas fee is the fee Ethereum sets for sending out a cryptocurrency using the Ethereum blockchain. You can use the Speed Up option to select the gas fee they want to pay.
Note: You can use the speed-up transaction to select how much Ethereum to spend. Moving the slider to the right will send the transaction faster than being on the left.
Click Confirm to save the changes to the gas fee.
Web3 wallet users must take an extra step by confirming the transaction within their web3 wallet. This confirmation prompt will pop up once the transaction is confirmed on the Gala Games site. Click Confirm to finalize the transaction.
