Purpose
When running specific workloads on the Gala Node software, certain ports may need to be opened for it to function properly. After opening up ports, its important to confirm that ports are both open and able to be connected to externally.

Summary
To confirm a port is open, users will need to find their machine's external IP address. This is usually provided by a VPS provider or through various sites that will let a user know what their external IP address is.
Once the external IP address is found, use a port checker to confirm if a port is open. If a certain port is closed, a user will see a similar response as shown below.
