Getting Started in Champions Arena

Players can purchase paid gems from the Cash Shop in-game or the Gala Store. These paid gems are for specific purchases for paid gems only, such as marketplace items. 

Free gems are gems players earn from playing the game. Free Gems are for in-game utility like linking, speeding up actions, etc. Buying something with gems will take it out of free gems first, and then the rest is used with paid gems. 

Paid gems can be used for the same purchases that free gems can be used for; however, free gems cannot be used for the same purchases as paid gems.
