This article explains what a Blessed Hero is and how it differs from a regular hero.

When playing through the Dragon Strike campaign or navigating the store, players can gain Tomes that can upgrade their heroes by giving them a permanent 10% boost to their overall stats.

Several variants of Tomes exist and are based on both their rarity and the specific color of the hero they are associated with. A Yellow Legendary Tome can bless a level 5 and lower yellow hero, while a Rare Red Tome can bless a level 3 or lower red hero. 

When a hero is blessed, it will have a unique border as well as new boosted stats.
