Why Early Access?

As developers, we have found that getting community feedback is an extremely valuable tool. As we near the end of production on Superior, we want to give players a taste of what is to come, but more importantly, hear from them regarding what they'd like to see more/less of in the full release of Superior.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

We anticipate the game being in Early Access for 3-4 months.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

The Early Access version will feature about 85% of the content that will be in the full game. All of our starting characters and enemies are already in. We expect to add a bit more content upon full release, but the primary features that we expect to come with the full release are the first seasonal battle pass along with more cosmetic items for players to equip.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

The game is fully playable from start to finish, either solo or as a co-op team of up to 3. Please refer to the "About This" section for a list of features currently in the game.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

We expect that the price is likely to go up after early access.

Is this game free to play?

Web2:  To play on Steam you will need to purchase Early Access from the Steam Store. Base price of the game is $25 USD.

Web3: 

• To play on Gala Launcher you must either hold a Prime NFT (Ronin, Murmur, Nomad) or a Superior Access Pass in your Gala Games and Entertainment account wallet.

• Owning a Prime NFT will give you direct access to characters you own.

• Owning an Early Access Pass will give you access to play the Preseason content including being able to play with Ronin, Nomad, and Murmur characters.

What is the difference between playing it on third-party platforms like Steam and on Gala Launcher?

Playing the game on the Gala Launcher will allow you to use NFTs and the other blockchain elements of the game. Playing on third-party launchers like Steam will not include any NFT or blockchain mechanics.

Does this game support Mac?

The game does not support Mac at this time.

Does Superior have a demo version to try before making a purchase?
There is not demo version available at this time.

How often will the game receive updates? 
There are many updates planned for Early Access that you can find at https://superior.game/roadmap/.

Do I need a Gala Games and Entertainment Account in order to play on Steam? 
You will need to create and link a Gala Games and Entertainment Account with your Steam Account in order to play on Steam.

If I own a Prime NFT and Superior Access Pass, can I also get the game for free on Steam or other third-party platforms?

You must purchase the game on Steam or other third-party launchers in order to play it on that platform.

If I purchase(d) a Prime NFT via Opensea, will I also gain access to the game?

Yes, access to the game is linked to owning a Prime NFT or an Early Access Pass.

How do I utilize my extra Early Access Passes?

 Build your team of 3 players by sharing with friends and family!

Will the progression of my characters in Early Access carry over to Season 1?

Yes, progression in Early Access will carry over to Season 1.

Is there cross-play between players on third-party platforms such as Steam and the Gala Launcher?

Cross-play is enabled for third-party platforms like Steam and Gala Games users.

Can I migrate the progress of my Steam version or other versions of Superior to my Gala Games version?

You are unable to transfer character progression at this time.
