Summary
Collections and accounts with a blue checkmark badge have been verified by OpenSea. Below is an example of the official Mirandus collection. This collection was created by the verified Gala Games and Entertainment account.
In order for an account to become verified, it must first pass OpenSea’s verification process which takes up to 7 days to complete. Accounts that violate the terms of service by trying to create a fake account will lead to a request being declined.
Verified accounts may submit collections of 75 ETH of volume for a badge. A collection verified with a badge must also have all collection items minted/revealed, meaning they have been vetted for authenticity. If a collection is marked as “mintable” then any user may freely mint onto shared smart contracts. Users purchasing from “mintable” collections instead of verified ones do so at their own risk. When viewing a collection, users can hover over the badge to see the message proving it is verified.
It is always important to purchase Gala Games and Entertainment NFTs from verified collections. If a user has a question about the legitimacy of a collection, please submit a ticket to confirm that it is a valid NFT on the Gala Games and Entertainment platform.
