Summary
The IP address-based login system allows for an additional layer of security within the Gala Games and Entertainment ecosystem by adding another factor of authentication which is required upon login.
This system passively matches the IP address from the new login attempt against the previously used IP. If the IPs do not match, it will require users to perform an action in order to log in successfully.
Accessing the account from a new location
If such an event occurs, the login process is halted until the user verifies the legitimacy of the attempt via an 8-digit authentication code that will get sent to the associated email address.
